Place your object on the rotating platform. With the controlled turn of your base, the laser will start marking it progressively, while the webcam captures this interaction.
These images, once fed into your 3D scanning software, start forming a point cloud, which is essentially the raw digitized form of your object, like a sketch made up of millions of points in space. This point cloud is then converted into a mesh, the digitized 3D model.
And there it is! You can refine, edit, or analyze the model further according to your requirements.
