Officer Richard in Rochester offers a similar view stating, "Our actions are always under scrutiny, and we must always uphold the highest standards of professional conduct."

Concerns and Challenges

Despite the apparent benefits, some officers have voiced their concerns over body-worn cameras. The concerns are primarily centered around privacy issues and the use of footage.

"There are times when we respond to sensitive locations or handle vulnerable victims, how do we handle the footage then?" questioned Officer Emily from Rochester. Other concerns included the practicality of the cameras, with some officers admitting that the additional equipment took time to adjust to.
