Before recording, providers must obtain verbal consent from the patients. If a patient declines, the request will be respected, and no recording will take place. We believe this builds a relationship of trust and understanding between the caregiver and the patient, as they are mutually involved in the process of ensuring credible care delivery.

Data Storage and Integrity

Data storage and integrity are at the cornerstone of this policy. The video recordings stored will be encrypted, secured and access to them will be strictly monitored, with the Hospital's Data Protection Officer providing oversight.

Moreover, data will be handled with the same level of confidentiality and security as other patient records. The footages will not be used for any other purposes apart from addressing accountability issues and improving general patient care.

Training for the Staff
